“ If you like crab this is THE place to go! Get some fresh ceviche for starters then the "tacontento" and I guarantee you'll be more than contento. No less than 3 whole crabs with 3 colorful tacos on the side (ask for the level of chili when you order - it can get hot!) With a perfect location facing the laguna and friendly service, this was one of the seafood highlights of the trip. ”

“ Hijos del Cocho is an amazing restaurant. The food is incredible and the people who work there are very nice and welcoming. Especially Abby, who is one of the owners treats you like family. The Torre del Mariscos is the bomb, the Agua Chile Verde just melts in your mouth, the Pescado Frito is incredible as well as the Grilled Pulpo. I totally recommend this restaurant when you are in Bacalar!!! Love it!! ”
